The project TobeUs was initiated by the Italian industrial designer Matteo Ragni, who inspired his colleagues to return to ecologically clean long lasting materials for the design of unique children’s toys. The result was a collection of singular toy cars carved from Lebanese cedar wood.
The first five cars appeared in 2008. Seven years later the TobeUs collection includes over 100 models by world renowned designers. Every time the exhibition travels to a new city, ten local designers create ten new models to join the collection and continue on their journey across the globe.
