Save the date: the art show dedicated to our insights in crystal glass making is opening at All-Russian Museum Of Decorative Art
The concept of this exhibition, initially supported by MYRA Creative Community and Gus Crystal Factory, is to show every stage of glass-making as an exciting field of artistic experiment. The project in All-Russian Museum Of Decorative Art presents historical pieces from the Museum’s collection as well as contemporary artworks in a dialogue with paintings, illustrations, technical drawings and installations.

The exhibits show the stages of a crystal glass item in-the-making through visual rhymes: for example, a photo of a parachute in the sky resembles a technical glass-top of the future item that holds the tube in its place during glass blowing. The process of linocut has a lot in common with crystal cut and avant-garde colour charts illustrate the pursuit behind coloured glass.
The exhibition is on show from November 20 to January 19. The tickets are available at the Museum’s cash desk.
