We are very excited to announce that our object 23° – 46° SAO PAULO Table Special Edition for ARCHIPELAGO has made it to the final of Arte de Vivre prize. A project, dedicated to contemporary crafts is organized together with GET ART FIT school.
This year the jury has chosen 24 pieces out of 500 entries, and one of them is our piece made in collaboration with ARCHIPELAGO brand.
The finalists’ works explore the material not simply as a medium, but as an independent artistic language — through texture, resistance and craftsmanship. These are the traits that we are exploring in our designs. The ‘weaving’ of São Paulo table is styled by the wood of different colours and textures. Checkered pattern is interrupted by leather band fixtures, traditional for Brazilian furniture.
The exhibition lasts from May 22 — July 5 at Art de Vivre Platform, located at Tchaykovskogo, 26, Saint Petersburg.
